I cannot recommend Floors of London highly enough. Vince, Velizar and team are highly skilled and capable professionals. I was delighted with my floor, their attention to detail and their ability to finesse the tricky parts. Velizar was great to communicate with, prompt to text back and confirm details. Everything went according to plan. Their price was good too – I’m a landlady and so fed up with silly quotes. I’m going to have a large floor replaced and soundproofed in a couple of years and I shall definitely use Floors of London. To boot they are lovely guys and a pleasure to do business with.
We hired Floors of London to lay oak floor in our living room and hallway. They have totally exceeded our expectation. The end result is beautiful. Vince is very skilful and patient, paying attention to the finest detail. Our underfloor was very uneven, part of it being concrete, and part wood. They dealt with it perfectly. They are true professionals and you can tell they are very experienced.

Vel and his team did a brilliant job restoring my floorboards in my bedroom, and also replacing a joist which had basically disintegrated. Vel was very friendly, incredibly responsive, and helpful. Vel and his team conducted extensive works on both floors of our house. We found them to be professional in every way. The work required of them was far from straight-forward but they stepped up and delivered at every stage of the way, from laying insulation, removal and replacement of broken hearths and securing of loose floorboards to the entire process of preparation, sanding, buffing and two-stage oiling. At every stage they were polite, helpful and eager to explain what they were doing in detail. Their punctuality and reliabilitiy was second to none and they were the only firm to tender all our possible alternatives clearly and in detail and at very reasonable rates. It was a pleasure to have them work for us and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
Great experience and outcome- honest, reliable and punctual at a reasonable price. They completely transformed our floors and were even able to replace some broken floorboards and even cement parts with reclaimed wood (without the crazy prices!). Great work, would definitely trust them again, highly recommend!

Sorry Guys its been so long posting this feedback…. These guys were extremely professional and are great at what they do ….laying floors and making your house look special. I cant recommend these guys high enough…..so sincere and genuine. Dont bother getting too many quotes from other companies, just get these guys you wont regret it.

Floors of London did a great job for me surpassing my already high expectations. I am keen on hard floors due to having eczema and allergy sufferers in the family and out of the numerous floors I have had fitted across 20 or so years Floors of London stand out and having done the best and possibly likely to last longest job. I have a new room that needs doing and it was reaching straight for their number that reminded me to write this feedback.
They sanded, repaired and finished our floor on the second floor. Great job and really lovely people to talk to. Professional, reliable and polite. Strongly recommend.
Vel, Vince and their team are wonderful. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They undertook a large project in our flat, which included removing old carpets, removing the underlying floorboards in order to lay soundproofing / insulation materials, refitting the floor against the joists, sanding back the wood meticulously, carefully filling all the gaps and then staining the boards to our exact requirements. They also carefully filled in the gap between the floorboard and the skirting boards leaving a seamless finish. We could not be happier with the result and other tradesmen we’ve subsequently had in the flat have all commented on the quality of the work. The floor used to be terribly noisy and creaky to walk on and it now feels like new. Absolutely no movement or creaks. The team took incredibly good care of the flat and clearly take great pride in their work. They have a genuine passion which shows in the quality of the finished product. Vel and Vince visited a few days in advance of starting the work so that we could try different stains and gave me all of the time and help I needed to make a decision. With careful effort they managed to successfully lighten the pine boards to a beautiful pale colour which I had thought may not be possible. We were away during the work and they kept in regular contact to tell me how things were progressing. The job was finished on time and was extremely reasonably priced!! You shouldn’t hesitate to enlist Vel and his team!
Vel and his team did a fantastic job with laying new laminate in our kitchen and living room. They were always on time, polite, helpful and paid great attention to details. They were also excellent at finding solutions to the little tricky things that always crop up. They tidied up as they went along and there was always minimum mess and dust. We can’t recommend them highly enough to you and they offer a very fair price.
Great team of guys that did a very good job on installing laminate in the hallway. They took their time in making sure everything was done properly, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Will call them again for another laminate installation.
Not only did Floors of London remove the vinyl, when we found original floorboards underneath the vinyl in the kitchen they sanded, stained, and varnished them beautifully. They mixed up a light grey stain themselves which looks gorgeous. I’m very pleased with the result and would recommend them.

We are very happy with their quality of work and professionalism. They fixed a number of issues from our dodgy builder at reasonable price including removing air bubbles, fixing a no. of issues relating to stairs with laminated floor covering, replacing door thresholds to fill the gap of 1.8cm to 2cm due to underflooring heating installed in our bathrooms. They had clever idea to put very thin seals/ thresholds under built-in alcolve units to close the gap. We wish we had found them earlier rather than getting upset and stressed out due to the very poor workmanship by the other builder. If you need any flooring to be done, I do strongly encourage you speaking to Vel and his team before looking for someone else and you won’t regret for your decision. We have no hessitation recommending them to anyone we know and we will definitely use them again in the future if we need any flooring job to be done.

These guys did an amazing job changing our laminate floor and skirting boards. They ensured everything was done to perfection. They were very tidy, clean, polite and prompt throughout. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional flooring team who know what they are doing.
I can’t recommend Floors of London enough. Val, Vince, Rad and Val (again) were absolutely amazing! We changed all of our ground floor (with the exception of the kitchen) to laminate flooring and also had the old skirting ripped out and replaced with new skirting. The team was very thorough and really went the extra mile – even fixing the loose floorboards after ripping out the carpet and underlay. Vince, in particular, was extremely meticulous, and took the additional effort to ensure that we got the perfect finish – he sourced the L-shaped/ angle beading for our conservatory that would suit our grey flooring and didn’t charge us any extra for this service (other than for the materials cost, which is to be expected). The team ensured that after the work was completed, all of the furniture was moved back and that everything was plugged back in. I also noticed that they had also cleaned my conservatory windows after a great deal of dust went on them when cutting the wood inside while it was raining! The quote was very competitive and the work was completed within 3.5 days, which was extremely quick considering the extent and quality of the work. I would definitely use Floors of London again – maybe when I replace my carpets and skirting upstairs in a few years!

Vince, Vel and their team did a fantastic job fitting laminate flooring and skirting boards in our flat. They have very good attention to detail and are obviously very skilled in their trade, they never seem to be in a hurry to rush the work which can sometime be the case with tradesmen. They are also very competitive on price. Floors for London are very professional in the way they approach the work. They issued us with a proper written quotation and specification for what we had agreed. Throughout the process they were very easy to communicate with and if there was any doubts about the finer details of what we wanted they called me up to discuss it rather than making assumptions. This ensured we got everything completed exactly the way we preferred. We have just completed a full refurbishment of our flat and have used a number of different tradesmen throughout the process. Floors of London were one of the best tradesmen we have used and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Came in at short notice and did a thoroughly professional job fixing a bubble in my floor and other related issues from a prior poor installation by a different company. Highly recommended, competitively priced, quick and clean workers and nice guys too. Will use them again without hesitation for any future flooring work.

Vel and Vince ripped out our carpets, disposed of them, sanded the floors and varnished them all in 3 days. When we needed some final touch ups due to some scratches we made when we moved in they returned immediately to make sure that floors were as good as new. This team did a truly amazing job with tidying our old parquet floor and laying a new oak floor in our extension. Cannot recommend these guys more. My diary was constantly changing and they were really flexible, even notifying me of last minute cancellations to see if any of the dates could work for me. We were finally able to arrange a Sunday – which was great. They were in and out within 90mins. Will definitely be using again!
Vince and Vel did an amazing job with my floors. I hired them because when they came to give the quote, you could tell that they knew what they were talking about and they communicated everything very well so I was able to feel completely confident. They are experts that have been specialising in the flooring business for many years, so I expected the price to be higher but in fact it was very competitive. They were reconditioning our old pine floors that had been hiding beneath carpets for a long time and were in a bad state. They also removed a concrete block from where an old fireplace once was, so that the floorboards could go all the way to the wall in its place. The job also involved buying some reclaimed antique pine boards (which they did before arriving at the job) to make up the extra floor area required and to replace old damaged ones, and matching the colour to the original boards. They did this so well that now I can’t tell which boards were new and which ones were original. They also put lovely wooden thresholds to make a perfect transition from the other rooms into the wooden floors. Even my neighbour who lives in the flat above was saying how polite and nice these guys are, they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day and the whole thing went perfectly smoothly from start to finish. No problems, all good, and the floors look amazing. You should hire them!
